Hi everyone! We have a few more teams added to our league, so that means more beginners. Welcome new members! Please don’t get discouraged if you’re not playing that well, and don’t lose your joy. Keep a positive attitude and don’t give up!

Attitude can make or break all dart players. I always try to play with zeal and enthusiasm. Playing darts should be fun, not stressful. And for goodness sake, don’t ever make someone feel bad because they’re not playing well!

Thanks to the members that came out for the Bluebonnet in February and the General Membership Meeting last weekend.

Good luck. Get those win points!

The Harris County Darts Association has long published a newsletter called Wired Out. The publication switched from print to a PDF format mailed out to the general membership over time. “What? There’s a newsletter?” Yes, yes. We know. It’s been ages since you’ve seen one. That’s why this blog is here. To keep you up-to-date on issues and fun facts in the realm of Houston area darts.

Larry DeBondt is doing a fantastic job with the official website, HoustonDarts.org. This blog will not compete with the website, but will bring you other stories, general musings and diversions from the local darts scene. Consider this an experiment.
